Heinz Jacobsberg was among the pioneers of manufacturing Stainless Steel Catering Equipment in South Africa in the early 1940’s. Under the ‘Geraldo’ Brand Name he developed a reputation for manufacturing high quality, ultra-durable catering equipment. This company was sold in 1969.
Ralph Jacobsberg and Company is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and trades throughout the Southern African Region.

Since the establishment of the company in 1972, Ralph Jacobsberg and his Partner Rodney Salkinder have carried on the family tradition of manufacturing high quality kitchen equipment under the ‘Raljac’ brand name.

Our manufacture focuses standard and customised heavy duty equipment namely, Tilting Frying Pans, Oil Jacketed Pots, Grillers, Boiling tables, Fryers, tables, sinks, stoves, hot closets, racks shelves trolleys etc.

“Raljac” Equipment has been developed and honed in our factory over the years in order to provide easy to use, robust, dependable equipment suitable for the rugged conditions demanded by working conditions in Africa.

We are keen to share our years of experience in kitchen design. We work closely with our clients, architects, quantity surveyors as well as operational staff from project inception to completion in order to maximize the usage of the kitchen.
